A cracking year for Grenache in the Barossa! Here, we pick on the cusp of ripeness with some whole-bunches retained during the fermentation. The Grenache components are sourced from up to five different vineyards across the Barossa Valley, all aged between 60 and 80 years old. The shiraz component is from the Eden Valley giving dried herb aroma and the Mataro is sourced from a 60 year old block in Nuriootpa on sandy soils for spice and tannin.

Product Details

2022 Head Red GSM hails from one of the great Barossan years. Plenty of upfront red fruits and earthen spice on the nose. Cuddly, intense layers of crunchy red to blue fruits. Long, juicy, fresh and persistent tannins should pair well with Mediterranean dishes but it’s just too easy to drink on its own! The best GSM in years.
